        | Application Notes | This product consists of purified lgG fraction of the above antiserum covalently coupled with high purity Isomer 1 of fluorescein isothiocyanate. Care is taken to ensure complete removal of any free fluorescein from the final product. The product is formulated in a phosphate saline buffer (0.01M, pH 7.2) containing bovine serum albumin (10 mg/ml) as a stabilizer and 0.1% sodium azide preservative. This product is especially useful in Anti-Complement lmmunofluorescent (ACIF) assays. Working dilution must be determined by the user for each application but a starting range of 1:15 - 1:50 is suggested. Acetone fixation of the antigen source is recommended prior to staining. Manufacturer also recommends use of its COUNTERSTAIN/BLOCKING DILUENT (Cat.#GRP1082) and its MOUNTING MEDIUM (Cat.#GRP1081) for optimum product performance. Enzyme amplification following reaction with FITC conjugate can also be accomplished utilizing Manufacturer’s enzyme-antibody conjugate specific to FITC (Cat.#s GRP986). Expiration is 1 year upon receipt when stored at 2-8 C or 4 years when stored at years when stored at ≤ -20 C. |
