The mouse monoclonal antibody GH-45 recognizes human growth hormone (hGH), a polypeptide hormone synthesized by acidophilic or somatotropic cells of the anterior pituitary gland. The GH-45 antibody reacts with affinity constant 3.8 x 1010l /mol; it does not bind human prolactin or any other pituitary hormones.
